Moth’s big list of poker resources
A work in progress…
There’s an awful lot of poker stuff on the web. I keep signing up to sites , then forgetting all about them, so I’m setting up a page to keep track of it all. I’ll update it as and when I can be bothered.
NUMBER CRUNCHY
CardPlayer’s Omaha Odds Calculator – a nice ittle online tool for calculating your chances of winning a hand. There’s also a Hold’em version, if you’re into that whole two cards thing. But if that’s what you’re looking for, you’d be better off with -
Pokerstove – awesome freeware Windows app that makes number crunching fun! Alright, not fun. Just effective. Every hold’em player needs this. (Can we have an Omaha version, please?)
TRACKY
Poker Tracker – the trackdaddy. Is it worth the money? Almost certainly.
Hold’em Manager – the young pretender. Never used it, but I’m planning in getting hold of a copy soon, for a review, but for the moment, it’s worth noting that you can get HEM as a loyalty bonus with a number of sites, which is an attractive option.
ENOUGH, ALREADY. Well, clearly not enough; I’m just bored. I’ll flesh this list out soon enough.
